There are only two kinds of kingdom here on earth. The kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:13-14 says, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. In whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
When we made the decision to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we were automatically transferred from darkness to the Kingdom of light (I Peter 2:9). The kingdom of darkness spells evil, killing, destroying and stealing but Jesus came to give us life and life in abundance. (John 10:10)
We can experience peace in the midst of turmoil; joy in the midst of trouble; and righteousness when we repent and turn to Him whenever we sin. Joy represents Jesus, Others, and You….Jesus must be in the first and topmost priority of your life. Next will be other people and your last concern is yourself.
Peace is shalom. It is the holistic prosperity in our lives and not just our financial prosperity but the richness in our spirit and soul. Righteousness can only be obtained by the Blood of Jesus Christ in our lives. We are forgiven of sin and accepted in the beloved by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. His precious Blood redeemed us out of darkness.
So this 2010, let us live our lives solely for the Lord Jesus Christ. He will bless us and forever keep us in His kingdom. Let us continually confess all throughout this year: In Christ Jesus joy, peace and righteousness reign in 2010!
